The Course aims at providing knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary for the management of inland and Coastal Wetland Sites, within protected and outside protected areas, and to understand complex interrelationships between wetlands and climate change. The training is aimed at enhancing the capacity of wetland practitioners to enable them deal with contemporary environmental issues, including climate change and societal challenges facing wetlands management in Africa. Target participants include but not limited to individuals who are actively involved in natural resource management and policy development with a focus on wetlands.
This programme aims at providing competencies that practicing tour guides should possess and be able to demonstrate as a basis for certification and licensing by Tourism Regulatory Authority (TRA). The training focuses on all forms of guiding; tour guide, mountain climbing porters, marine or nature guides, naturalists, birders, cultural guides, wildlife scouts, cultural and museum curators, animators and tour escorts amongst others.
